LNIG Top 8 finals take centre stage

Reigning champions Lioli will face Bantu in
the LNIG Top 8 semi-finals on Saturday
The LNIG Top 8 finals will take centre stage this weekend with the semi-finals on Saturday and the final on Sunday. All of the action will take place at the Setsoto Stadium and four teams remain in the hunt for the M100 000 winner’s jackpot.

The four teams are Kick4Life, LCS, Bantu and defending LNIG Top 8 champions Lioli.

The action will be kick-started by Kick4Life against LCS in the first semi-final at 13:00 on Saturday.

The second semi-final will kick-off at 15:00 and it will see a humdinger between champions Lioli and current league leaders Bantu. The two sides meet three weeks ago in a thrilling league match at Setsoto which saw a packed and colourful stadium. On that day Bantu ran out 2-1 winners and Saturday’s clash promises to be another mouth-watering clash between the two rivals.

The two losers from the semi-finals will open the action on Sunday at 13:00 in the third and fourth place playoff.

The final will follow straight after at 15:00 to bring the curtain down on the tournament.
